IMPORTANT: the lids are made with slatted poplar board (slats glued to each other). Poplar is a soft wood very sensitive to changes in ambient temperature and humidity. In the face of this the lid can work and suffer slight cracks especially in the joints of the wooden slats. This is not a defect but is proper to acquiring a product made from this material. The poplar may have dark black or yellowish gray areas. It can have holes and cracks.
MAINTENANCE: WAX IN NATURAL PASTA IN FAVOR OF THE VEIN. Do not support hot glasses or get wet. if this happens there will be a halo that can be removed using a dry green sponge and then waxed again. After waxing a dry cloth to shine
