The color of the wood can vary with respect to the image depending on the wood split and the dyeing process that is handmade
IMPORTANT: the lids are made with slatted poplar board (slats glued to each other). Poplar is a soft wood very sensitive to changes in ambient temperature and humidity. In the face of this the lid can work and suffer slight cracks especially in the joints of the wooden slats. This is not a defect but is proper to acquiring a product made from this material. The poplar may have dark black or yellowish gray areas. It can have holes and cracks.
